Armed suspects ransack homes at Lebowakgomo Hospital just days after Letaba Hospital attack

A shootout ensued between security guards and the criminals and they made off with a number of valubles

POLOKWANE – MEC for Health in Limpopo, Dr Phophi Ramathuba is currently receiving a briefing on the events that occurred at the Lebowakgomo Hospital in the early hours of this morning, 24 November.

According to reports, a group of armed men forcefully entered the doctors living quarters and ransacked a number of houses.

This, just two days after two doctors were shot and one attacked with a sharp object during robbery at Letaba Hospital.

A shootout ensued between security guards and the criminals made off with a number of valuables.

One healthcare worker was assaulted and sustained minor injuries.
