Hot temperatures expected in Polokwane this week

Temperatures are expected to reach 34 degrees

POLOKWANE – A heatwave that is currently crossing over South Africa will have an effect on temperatures in Polokwane.

The South African Weather Service has issued warnings of heatwave conditions in Gauteng with the temperatures expected to hit between 33 and 36 degrees due to dry conditions over the province.

This will also affect Limpopo with temperatures expecting to reach 34 degrees on Saturday.

While cloudy conditions are expected for the rest of the week, humidity will likely increase, creating hotter conditions.

With dry and hot conditions expected, rain has been forecast for Saturday and Sunday with a 30% chance of downpours.
