‘Every entrepreneur should have an opportunity regardless of their background’

Business Woman Hope Tsebetsebe (35) has opened up a pop-up store market to accommodate talented business minded entrepreneurs.

LIMPOPO – She envisioned a Hope Pop-Up Market as she believed every entrepreneur should have an opportunity regardless of their background or financial difficulties.

Business Woman and owner of Hope Pop-Up Market founded in August 2017, Hope Tsebetsebe (35) from Lebowakgomo wanted to be everyone’s hope within her community by opening up a pop-up store market to accommodate talented business minded entrepreneurs.

“We own a shopping complex where we give them stalls for free, every end of the month.

“We hope to get them collaborating and occupying some space in the complex. I own an African Cuisine on our premises as well,” Hope said.

Growing up, she attended primary school at Dr Dixon Mphahlele Primary School, and proceeded to Meridian College Polokwane, Settlers Agricultural High School and completed matric in 2009 at Derek Kobe Secondary School.

She pursued studies in IT for two years at Damelin in Polokwane, and studied operator control and mining course for one and half years at Hat Training Development in Burgersfort, and successfully graduated in both of her courses in 2013.

Hope Pop-Up Market specialises in brand ambassadors, artists and promotions, and they target promoters, public relations officers, clients and corporate companies in the hope of partnering for showgrounds in the future.

Hope Pop-Up Market has hosted 12 pop-up markets since 2017, and a women seminar in August called Queens of the Market Place.

“When owning a market place or business, plan everything accordingly and don’t hesitate to take action, create that world you want to see, and get a team to make the vision a reality,” Hope advised.

She explains that she loves managing markets because she gets to meet new characters regularly.

“I believe, always stay in your lane, don’t compare yourself to anybody else. Rather do improvements because you have no rival,” she concluded.
