Man apprehended for attempted rape at Polokwane business premises
The 41-year-old woman was allegedly attacked in her office on Wednesday
POLOKWANE – A case of attempted rape is under police investigation after a 23-year old man attempted to rape a 41-year-old woman at the office of a business outside Polokwane at around 11:48 on Wednesday, 31 October.
The man was arrested by people on the premises, but it could not be confirmed whether it were co-workers or people coming to do business. The suspect was detained and the police were called to apprehend him.
The suspect was detained in the police cells and will appear before the Polokwane Magistrate’s court soon, according to Constable Maphure Manamela, spokesperson of the Provincial SAPS office.
