Nifty Nissan Micra turns heads all the way

MOKOPANE – Bosveld took the Nissan Micra Turbo Acenta for a spin and it impressed us to no end. This car has 66kW@5500 rpm power and is believed to have as little as 5.1L per 100km fuel consumption ability.

The adventurous look of the Micra is not only accentuated on the exterior but also in the interior. The exterior leaves a bold and sporty look with pointy-shaped lights, not the usual round-shaped, which includes front fog lights and LED signature daytime running lights, 16″alloy wheels and a rear roof spoiler. A well rounded-of and sleek interior design made us feel at home. The seating, as well as dashboard, is tailored with fine material, white, light grey and dark grey, which gives it the look of a class sportscar.

With all, its boldness and class, the most important is the way the car drives, which is excellent. This car performs very well in the busy streets when driving much slower as well as on the open road.

There was hardly any noise heard when putting foot to the pedal on the open road, with quick acceleration guaranteed. It handles exceptionally well on any terrain. When it comes to safety, all the needed extras are available and even for those drivers who fear the uphills, there is hill start assist (HSA) as well as an anti-lock braking system (ABS), vehicle dynamic control (VDC) and brake assist (BA). Cruise control with an adjustable speed limiter is also available.

The infotainment consists of a 7″ display with AM/FM radio, MP3, radio data system (RDS), USB ports, auxiliary cable inputs, Bluetooth and Apple Carplay which means that Siri can assist you with playing music or even contacting a relative.

Nissan did a superb job with the new Micra and Bosveld dares potential buyers to open their eyes to this beauty. You can even personalise your vehicle with different colours like energy orange, passion red, power blue, echo grey, platinum silver or solid white.
