Fidelity ADT visit needy kids
Fidelity ADT visited the Polokwane Welfare Complex where the team and their dealer partner in the region, Secure You, gave 67 minutes of their time for Mandela Day.
POLOKWANE – Led and motivated by the late former President Nelson Mandela’s quote: “It is in our hands to create a better world for all who live in it,” the team got together to make a change.
Branch Manager at Fidelity ADT, Maurice Malan, told Review they decided to assist the temporary care centre that looks after preschool children who are neglected and come from abusive homes.
“All the volunteers donated more than R1 000 from their own pockets and with the collection we bought winter clothing and toiletries for the children. We also spent some time with the children,” Maurice said.
The female staff helped to clean the centre from inside out while the men cleaned the terrain and helped wash the vehicles that transport the children to school each day.
“It was so gratifying to see the happiness and joy on the children’s faces and the pleasure all of our staff and our officers received from being able to support and make a small difference in the lives of these special people and children. Thank you for allowing us into your refuge,” Maurice concluded.
