“To be the first guy with albinism on the show was not that much of a big deal to me, but more of a unique privilege and an opportunity. I know that I’ve got the confidence and good personality to even be worried about my differences. I’m a people’s person and I’m sure most people would agree,” he told Review.

One of the highlights of Sunday’s episode was the moment Boitumelo recited a Sepedi poem for one of the families, which led to his future date shedding a tear.

His sense of style, character and fun and bubbly personality was one of the many things that the viewers noticed and complimented him on, on Twitter.

During his date with lucky Kholofelo, from Polokwane, Boitumelo gifted her with a book about albinism.

“During our date I gave her the book so that she can learn more about me and get to know me better through the book. It was a gift from the heart, hence why I mentioned on the show that when I date a girl, I don’t care about her body shape, but more about the shape of her heart,” he said.

Viewers noted that Gaddafi the Poet ended this season of Date My Family on a good note.
