Limpopo police successfully locate five missing people

LIMPOPO – According to police spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, missing person cases are treated with as much urgency and sensitivity as possible, roping in help from relevant role platers such as the police’s search and rescue unit as well as the community at large.

“The prompt reaction and true dedication by police in Limpopo has shown vast results lately during the recovery of reported missing persons,” he says.

The following people were successfully relocated in Thohoyandou:
– Shadrack Ndanduleni Rambauli (84).
– Livhuwani Lufuno Ramatsea (30) of Phiphidi village.
– Portia Ramahada (17) of Khubvi village.
– Mugwedi Tshavhungwe (17) of Makwarela location.

In addition, police in Waterval, outside Makhado, managed to track down the family of a boy who was found roaming around Elim Mall on 22 May.

“Police investigations revealed that the boy visited his aunt at Magangeni village just 4km from the mall. He lost his way to the place and found himself stranded at the mall. He was safely handed to his grandmother at Dakari village near Malamulele,” Ngoepe concluded.
