[WATCH] Limpopo welcomes cyclists as the Tour de Limpopo kicks off
Review spoke exclusively to Sonto Ndlovu, CEO of Limpopo Tourism on her thoughts on the event.
POLOKWANE- The first Tour de Limpopo kicked off at Peter Mokaba Stadium this morning, 23 April, and has attracted both local and international riders.

“We hope that everyone will enjoy the hospitality of our Limpopo Province and wish that you will come back after the race to come and revisit our beautiful scenic tourist attractions” explains Sonto Ndlovu, Limpopo Tourism CEO.
However, despite the excitement for the race, the Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety has cautioned motorists to be vigilant and patient as there will be cyclists on the road.

MEC for the Limpopo department of economic development, environment and tourism Seaparo Sekoati also expressed his excitement .”The Limpopo Province is one of the most, if not the most beautiful provinces in the country and we are overjoyed to be hosting the Tour de Limpopo seeing as it will not only promote the province but also, economic growth. The future looks bright and from my side I want to give a hearty welcome to all cyclists and extend our gratitude for supporting this great event.”
Cyclists will ride through the picturesque areas of Magoebaskloof, toward Tzaneen and the also toward Mooketsi and then all the way back to Polokwane.
