Passengers are urged to make alternative transport arrangements

According to Great North Transport’s (GNT) Marketing and Communications manager, Patrick Monkoe, GNT is a member of SARPBAC and as a result, they will be taking part in the strike.

GNT’s Chief Executive Officer, Sandile Keswa says as the company is a passenger transport company, the strike will have a negative effect of the mobility of their commuters across 11 depots in Limpopo.

“Our wish is for the strike to be resolved at the earliest possible time to minimize its impact. Passengers will be kept informed of any developments regarding the strike and in the interim, it would be advisable to make alternative transport arrangements to reduce the impact on their travelling schedules,” he said.

Keswa added that GNT would like to apologise to commuters for the inconvenience caused.
