Young beauty on the path to Miss Jr South Africa

Elizabeth Chokoe, a learner at Waterberg High School is only 16 years old but this young beauty already knows what her goal is and that is to help others through winning the Miss Junior South Africa title.

MOKOPANE – Chokoe will be competing in the Miss Junior SA Competition on 3 to 7 April in Pretoria and needs all the help she can get to be crowned Miss Junior SA.

“I love the world of beauty. I am not currently in any modelling school but I have competed in Miss Rainbow Nation 2017 and Miss Teen SA 2017. Unfortunately I haven’t won anything yet, but I am not going to give up.”

She explains that she always found modelling and beauty interesting while growing up in Germiston with her parents and two brothers.

Elizabeth Chokoe wishes for you to vote for her.

She lives in the hostel at Waterberg High School. She likes playing hockey and competing in athletics.

Her academics are also very important to her and life sciences is her favourite subject. She is planning to study radiology at the University of Kwazulu-Natal after matriculating but promised herself that she will always be part of the beauty industry.

She feels that because of the fact that she is skinny and petite she gets frowned upon sometimes and people have told her that she won’t be able to do anything because of that.

“I don’t care what others say. I was scared to show my true self in the beginning, but I learned to embrace being petite last year. I can actually do something to prove those who doubted me wrong.”

Her rolemodels are Hlengiwe Twala, Mrs South Africa 2017 and Miss Teen World 2015, Katlego Ncala.

She feels that they achieved so much because of their beauty and used their beauty to make the world a better place.

Despite Chokoe’s longing of winning the title of Miss Junior SA she wants to help old people and orphans.

She says that if she should win the title she would make sure to give all her time to take care of them.

“I am very excited about the competition. I feel confident that I might win something. I have so many things planned to do, including helping girls in the villages who really have the potential to be in the beauty industry, because they are so excluded from oportunities.”

She thanks her parents, brothers and all her friends who believe that she has a shot at winning the title.

She asks everyone to vote for her by sending her code, JT30 to 47087.
