Leopards appoint Masuthu as coach

Leopards Spokesperson, Berry Ramunenyiwa, welcomed the appointment and said the management team was happy with what Joel Masutha was bringing to the team.

LIMPOPO – Joel Masutha was recently appointed to take charge at Black Leopards.

Having already fulfilled the caretaker role at the club the former Tshakhuma Tshamadzivhandila FC (TTM) General Manager resigned from TTM at the end of last year and rejoined his former team.

Leopards Spokesperson, Berry Ramunenyiwa, welcomed the appointment and said the management team was happy with what Masutha was bringing to the team.

“We will be on the lookout for a new coach as soon as possible but right now Masutha is in charge. We are confident we will find the right man for the job and will release a statement when we do,” Ramunenyiwa said.

Masutha replaces Ivan Minnaert who parted ways with the team after receiving marching orders after only one month in the hot seat as coach. Minnaert was on the bench for five matches and during this period Leopards won two matches, drew two and lost one league and one Nedbank Cup match.
