‘Krushing’ beats on the dancefloor

Club DJ Molatelo Samuel Pochane, better known as Krusher, has recently released a 14-track house album titled Kanana, offering Polokwane party goers a fresh new sound.

POLOKWANE – With this unique new sound, Krusher intends on improving his life and those of others through his music.

According to the 24-year-old, the album was inspired by the amazing things that God has done in his life and the sufficient grace of God which is visible over his life.

At the age of 16, Krusher joined the local gospel choir as both the leading and backing vocalist. His creativity and love for music led him to other genres such as hip hop and house music where he started recording in his backyard studio.

“I started recording for fun and for the love of music until I received motivation from my fans to release an album, as the demand for my music escalated. This album is a club banger and the songs easily get stuck in one’s mind because it has a lot of catchy hooks,” he explained.

Although he believes in his craft, the lack of support that he received from certain individuals often puts a certain amount of strain on him, as some of these individuals expect free songs. Even though it’s not the ideal situation, he is confident that those that have been supporting him will continue to do so.

“I am confident music fans will love this upcoming album and identify with most of the tunes. I am currently touring during weekends, while I am busy recording my next album during the week,” he shared.

To some this may be viewed as a hobby, but this is something that he regards as a gift from God.

“My goal is to be successful within the music industry, in the sense that everyone recognises the good work that I am doing and also motivate other people,” he concluded.
