Police ask assistance to reunite woman (19) and baby with loved ones

The woman has a one-year-old baby boy and is currently being offered a shelter at the Letsitele Victim Empowerment Centre, says the police.

LIMPOPO – The Letsitele Police is requesting the assistance of the community to help reunite a 19-year-old woman with her family.

The 19-year-old female, known only as  Rhukanani has a one-year-old baby boy and is currently being offered a shelter at Letsitele Victim Empowerment Centre, says Police Spokesperson,  Constable Maphure Manamela.

“It is suspected that she might be originally from Mozambique but has been in  South Africa for a  couple of years where she was residing in one of the farms around the Letsitele policing area under the Tzaneen Cluster,” explains Manamela.

The police have  already engaged with different stakeholders like the Department  of Social Development, Homes Affairs Indunas and farmers in the area with no success.

The Police are requesting anyone with information which can assist the police to reunite her with her loved ones to contact Constable Ntsako Reoh Mabunda at 078 190 8092. Alternatively they can contact the 24-hour crime stop number at 08600 10111, the crime line sms 32211 or the nearest police station.
