Farmer shot in the leg during armed robbery outside Tzaneen

The armed robbery and attempted murder took place at the Exilite Farm Compound in Deerpark outside Tzaneen

LIMPOPO – Police in Tzaneen have launched a manhunt for a group of suspects involved in an armed robbery and attempted murder on Friday night.

Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says two unknown suspects, dressed in black security uniform, arrived at the farm, aimed at the victims and demanded cash.

“They robbed the victims of cash, three cellphones and further assaulted the victims before fleeing from the scene. One victim was shot in the leg,” he explained.

No arrests have been made as yet as the suspects are still unknown.
