Premier Mathabatha makes changes to Limpopo executive council

The announcement was made on Wednesday in a statement issued by the Office of the Premier.

POLOKWANE – The Premier of Limpopo, Stanley Mathabatha, decided to change the Executive Council following an assessment of the performance of the provincial government, in carrying out its constitutional mandate over the past two and half years.

The Executive Council has been reconfigured as follows:

  1. MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure: Nandi Ndalane
  2. MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs: Jerry Ndou
  3. MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development: Joyce Mashamba
  4. MEC for Transport and Community Safety: Makoma Makhurupetje
  5. MEC for Social Development: Mapula Mokaba-Phukwana
  6. MEC for Health: Phophi Ramathuba
  7. MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism: Seaparo Sekwati
  8. MEC for Sport, Art and Culture: Onnica Moloi
  9. MEC for Education: Ishmael Kgetjepe
  10. MEC for Provincial Treasury: Rob Tooley

Spokesperson for the Office of the Premier, Kenny Mathivha, says the Premier trusts these changes will add the necessary value in the improvement of the lives of our people.

“The changes are with immediate effect,” he concluded.
