Police need help in locating two missing mentally challenged people

Police appeal to the public to help locate two mentally challenged people, a mentally ill teenager and a 62-year-old man, who went missing during separate incident recently.

LIMPOPO – Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe reported: “It is alleged that Tshimangadzo Marageni (19) was last seen by his uncle who left him alone on Rochdale Farm outside Makhado at around 13:00 on 9 September 2017.”

His uncle returned home the following morning and around 02:00 and noticed he was missing. The police were summoned to the farm and a K9 rescue team launched a search, but in vain, Ngoepe said.

Marageni is described to be tall, slender and light in complexion.

Anyone with information which may assist in locating this missing man to contact Warrant Officer David  Mulaudzi on 082 414 7745.

Meanwhile, police in Morebeng (Soekmekaar) are urging the residents to assist in locating a 62-year-old mentally challenged man from  Maselesele Eisleben Kgatla Section .

Ngoako Lawrence was last seen by his wife, before he left home on Friday, 13 October 2017.

He was last seen wearing a blue pair of trousers, black tekkies and a blue dry Mack jacket and it is alleged that he might be around Mokomeni area which is about three to four kilometers from where he resides.

The police urge anyone with information which can assist in locating this missing man to contact the Morebeng Police Station on 015 397 4536.
