“I believe in the past women with fuller figures were often overlooked and judged according to their body sizes but I want to change that mindset and give plus-sized women a platform to express themselves as beautiful and talented women. This show will give them the opportunity to shine on stage as they also deserve to be in the limelight, showcasing their natural beauty and taking pride in their bodies. Every woman is beautiful in her own way. We at PIA also offer training sessions for plus-sized women and models who want to join our agency are welcome as we will ensure they are well-trained and registered under the PIA umbrella,” Mojalefa said.

The doors for the fashion weekend will open at 12:00 and the show will begin at 14:00 and run until the evening.

“We have 10 fashion designers who will showcase their brands during the show such as Azmol, Thanzbeauty, Mothapos Fashion, Ronny Fashion Designers, Lady Lora, Seipati Fashion, Itumeleng Fashion, Tshililo Fashion and many more. Gadaffi the Poet will be the master of ceremonies and there will be performances by several local artists. Behind the decks we will have DJ Suchi, all the way from Ghana, who will provide music throughout the show. I’m very excited about the show as I feel the time has come to show the world that Limpopo has got an abundance of talent,” he added.
