LIMPOPO – According to a statement issued by Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the Police Special Intelligent Led Joint Task Team composed of various Police Units made a major breakthrough in the investigation with the arrest of the three suspects (aged 22, 31 and 37-years-old).
“During this arrest 1× 9mm Pistol, 6× 9mm live rounds, 1× Sony Experia that was robbed from the victims and R380.00 cash were recovered,” he said.
According to earlier reports the Bela Bela Police launched a massive manhunt for a group of armed suspects following the attack in which a 82-year-old farmer was seriously wounded and his wife (73) fatally shot.

The suspects will appear before the Bela Bela Magistrate’s Court on Monday on charges of murder, attempted murder, house robbery and possession of firearm and ammunition without license, added Ngoepe.
Police investigations continue, he concluded.
