POLOKWANE – Members from all over Limpopo donned red t-shirts for today’s nationwide march.

The Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) together with members of the South African Democratic Teachers’ Union (Sadtu) took to the streets of Polokwane to take part in the national strike over job losses, state capture and corruption.

Thousands of marchers marched to Checkers in Hans van Rensburg Street to protest against labour brokering, to the Office of the Premier to protest against state capture and corruption, and to the offices of Anglo American to protest against job losses in the mining sector.
