[WATCH] Car plunged into Chuenespoort Dam recovered by Lim SAPS

The car was recovered from the bottom of the dam following the death of two people after it was plunged.

LIMPOPO – The motor vehicle which was used by the two deceased during a plunging incident was successfully retrieved from Chuenespoort Dam.

The recovery of the car was carried out by the Saps Search and Rescue Unit and the car was towed out of the dam.

This follows the death of two 19-year-old’s after the car was plunged into the dam.

Police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe says investigations are continuing and that while the motive behind the incident is still unknown, domestic violence may not be ruled out.
