Big reward for info on builder’s murder

A big reward of R100 000 has been offered for information that can lead to the arrest of the suspects in the murder of builder Kobus Brown (61), whose body was found outside a house in Mthatha.

Brown’s body was found on 2 September outside a house in Southernwood, Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, where he was working on a building contract. A 9mm cartridge case was found on the murder scene and according to the polica two cellphones and a television were stolen.

Brown is a resident of Pennington in KwaZulu-Natal and was busy working temporarly in Mthatha when he was murdered.

He leaves behind his wife Elmerie (61), his children and grand children. His memorial was held on 9 September in Scottburgh.

A reward of R100 000 has been offered by Brown’s employer for information that can lead to the successful arrest of the murder suspects.
