LIMPOPO – It is alleged that the officers who are residing in this barracks were awoken up by flames at around 02:00 this morning (Friday), said Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe.
“The members swiftly summoned the fire brigade, however the building was gutted with all their belongings inside.”
A private vehicle belonging to one of the officers was also damaged during this incident, he confirmed.
The cause of this fire is still unknown and the police appeal to anyone with information about this matter to contact their nearest Police Station, 24-hour crime stop number at 0860010111 or the crime line sms at 32211.
Police investigations continue.
