Traffic Alert: Street closures in Polokwane CBD
These temporary road closures will come into effect from Sunday 6 August 2017
POLOKWANE – The public are hereby notified of planned road closures in the central business district (CBD) due construction work in the area.
The temporary closure of streets in the CBD has to be undertaken as a precautionary safety measure while construction work takes place, reads a statement from the Polokwane Municpality.
The closures will be as follows:
Rissik and Landdros Maré Steets will be closed on Sunday 6 August 2017 and are expected to reopen by Monday afternoon 7 August 2017.
Market and Devenish Streets will be closed on Monday evening 7 August 2017.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes or when in the areas to follow diversion signs and any other instruction from traffic officers.
“Diversion signs and traffic officers will be available to assist with the diversions.”
The municipality apologises for any inconvenience.
