Ambulance stolen from Limpopo hospital premises – SAPS

The suspects cut the fence to gain access into the hospital premises

LIMPOPO – Police in Tinmyn outside Mokopane have launched a search for a state vehicle that was allegedly stolen from George Masebe Hospital premises over the weekend.

According to preliminary investigations the suspects cut the fence to gain access into the hospital premises from where the said vehicle, an ambulance, was stolen, said Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo.

“According to the information received, the vehicle was used to transport patients on the evening of Friday, 7 July and was thereafter parked in the garage at the said hospital. The alleged theft was discovered by employees yesterday morning (Saturday),” added Mojapelo.

The vehicle’s registration numbers are GHH 367 L and police have appealed to anyone with information that can assist in this investigation, to contact the nearest police or call 24-hour toll free number at 0860010111.
