POLOKWANE – Electricity supply has been cut in the Devenish and Burger streets area to allow for the repairs of two municipal poles which fell over earlier this morning.
According to the statement issued by the Polokwane Municpality, the lines are lying on the ground and technicians are on site to repair the damage.
Electricity supply to both Burger and Devenish streets will be affected and repairs are estimated to last until around 18:00 this evening.
Residents are advised to switch off all electrical appliances including geysers to avoid damage. The municipality apologises for the inconvenience.
