Limpopo Legislature in recess

MPLs will continue conducting oversight over government departments, including doing oversight visits to government projects and portfolio committee meetings to ensure a continued delivery of services to the people of Limpopo

POLOKWANE – A press release received from the office of the Chief Whip of the Limpopo Legislature informed that the Limpopo Legislature will be in recess until Tuesday 15 August.

At a sitting of the Legislature on Tuesday, Chief  Whip of the Legislature, Falaza Mdaka moved a Motion in the House for the Legislature to go on recess until 15 August.

“Normal sittings of the Legislature will be in recess, but members of the Provincial Legislature (MPLs) will continue conducting oversight over government departments, including doing oversight visits to government projects and portfolio committee meetings to ensure a continued delivery of services to the people of Limpopo,” Mdaka said.

He encouraged the people of Limpopo to continue interfacing with their elected leaders, at the level of Constituency Offices to raise service delivery concerns, instead of engaging in unlawful protests.
