Tumbles of fun

Marshall Gymnastics Academy hosted their annual MGA Festival on 9 and 10 May.

MOKOPANE – This festival comprises of MGA’s annual club competition and gymnast presentation.

The festival was hosted at the RET Centre.

On Tuesday (9 May), MGA’s youngest members, the funastics gymnasts (aged 3-7) showed their parents what they have been practicing during this year.

The gymnaestrada group (combining rhythmic gymnastics, acro gymnastics, dance, and show gymnastics) and the tumble gymnasts also competed on Tuesday.

The Men’s artistic and Women’s artistic (Level 1-3) gymnasts, competed on Wednesday (10 May) on various apparatus.

MGA head coach, Richard Marshall, says he is excited to see how the gymnasts have grown and developed during this year.

“They have not only developed physically, but have also grown in character”, said Marshall.
