Help Polokwane family find pensioner

The concerned family of Malesela Samuel Teffo (80), who has been missing for around four weeks, appeals to the community for assistance in finding him.

POLOKWANE – He was last seen in in Polokwane when he received his South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) grant on Monday, 3 April.

Teffo has a slight intellectual impairment and needs assistance with almost everything due to his age. His niece, Thabitha Mokgalapa, said he left the house with his wife and her aunt on Monday morning.

“They accompanied him to town and after he received his grant money he told them he wanted to go to the restrooms. When he did not return after a while they went to look for him only to find that he had gone missing,” Mokgalapa said.

Due to his age and mental capacity the family believes he might be wandering around Polokwane or Solomondale, not knowing where he is.

“We would greatly appreciate any assistance in finding him. He was last seen wearing fawn pants and a fawn jersey with a blue T-shirt and a black hat. If anyone sees him will they please call us at 063 670 2316, 076 841 4702 or notify the police at 10111,” she asked.
