Action packed cricket guaranteed

Polokwane Action Sport are currently busy with their autumn league which is proving to be action packed indeed.

POLOKWANE – Lelane van der Merwe, Polokwane Action Sport owner, says action cricket, netball and soccer games run through the year.

“We are busy with our Autumn league and the finals will be held on Saturday, 10 June.”

Various players from Polokwane gathered indoors to play against different teams indoors in the Co-Action Cricket sport, which took place on Thursday, 6 April.

The teams that participated and played against each another were Vaaljapies vs Limpopo Tyres, Elecmec Tigers vs Hackers, Buco vs Recess, Magical Magents vs Panthers, Team Lechwe vs Punishers and Mud Dogs vs Raiders.

Spectators came from all over Polokwane to support their families and favourite teams.

Ilze Human from the Hackers team was also part of the Co-Action cricket.
She was very active and represented her team very well, playing against the men on the day.

Results:
• Vaaljapies vs Limpopo Tyres – Vaaljapies won 99-97.
• Elecmec Tigers vs Hackers – draw.
• Buco vs Recess – Buco won 104-100.
• Magical Magents vs Panthers – Panthers won 122-110.
• Team Lechwe vs Punishers – Team Lechwe won 77-36.
• Mud Dogs vs Raiders – Mud Dogs won 96-83.
