OMG drops two hot tracks

The hip hop artists continue to wow fans with their fresh sound

LIMPOPO – The OMG hip hop duo that hails from Limpopo, is set to release two long-awaited singles, On My Grind remix featuring one of Mzansi’s prominent hip hop artists, BlackLez, and G-section featuring of one of the most celebrated artists from the north, Mizo Phyll.

OMG Manager, Dakalo Stan Mamathuntsha, said the two talented young artists, Kashflow and Flomatic, teamed up late last year to form a musical group called OMG (On My Grind). “The artists both share the same passion and desire for rap music.”

Mulanga Ralioma, known by his stage name as Kashflow, was discovered by Mbavhalelo Fizzy Radebe in 2010. Kashflow is not just an artist, he’s also a graduate with a diploma in graphic design from Rosebank college in Pretoria. In 2015 Kashflow released an album titled Zwire Mbiluni and he got airplay from different radio stations. His album is a Tshivenda music award-winning, best hip hop award (King of Venrap).

“Kashflow and Flomatic met through their passion for music. Arina Marwala, known by his stage name as Flomatic, took second place in the Born to Entertain competition. Flomatic reached out to people through music at the age of 17. He performed in numerous gigs and clubs located in Pretoria to get recognition,” he said.

Kashflow and Flomatic decided to expand their musical journey and bring out the change in their rap game. They decided to form the group OMG under Street Empire Media last year in September with the help of their manager Dakalo Mamathuntsha aka Dee Stan. The duo consists of two young talented artists who are willing to take over the music industry by storm on national level.

“They recently worked on their first single titled On My Grind which was featured on Slikour On Life (underdog) and got its fair share of radio airplay in local radio stations. More recently, they have been working with Blaklez on the remix of their single On My Grind, which is due to be released today and another song called “G-section” with Mizo Phyll,” Dee Stan said.

“The On My Grind remix will only be available on radio stations around the country and later next week on iTunes, whereas G-section will be available on Audiomark, Soundcloud, radio stations and other media platfoms.

“We hope to get recognition on national radio stations such as Metro FM, Y-FM and Highveld through this new banner. Working with a great artist like BlakLez was quite an amazing experience and also a learning opportunity for us. This year is definitely our year!” said the hyped Kashflow.

“Our goal is to represent our hometowns and Limpopo as a whole on a national level. If Kashflow managed to scoop an award as the King of Venrap, what would be stopping us, as a duo, from scooping all these various awards on a national level? OMG is the new hungry kid in the hip-hop game in South Africa,” Flomatic added.
