POLOKWANE – Patel stands accused of murdering his wife, Fatima, in April 2015. He pleaded not guilty.
Patel appeared before the court in an unkempt state. The State Prosecutor, Mashudu Mudau, says he looks to be “mentally stressed”.

The case will continue tomorrow (Wednesday) where both councils will address the court and the court will then rule on what is to happen to Patel.
