LIMPOPO – Police in Lebowakgomo are investigating a case of murder and assault after the brutal attack of two foreign nationals in Makgoathane ga-Mphahlele on Saturday.
“It is alleged that the two men, aged 38 and 22-years-old, were attacked and robbed by three unknown men who entered the store claiming to buy maize meal,” says Lebowakgomo Police Spokesperson, Cpt Matsimele Leshilo.
During the robbery the 38-year-old deceased was cut and died as result of injuries sustained. “He was declared dead by EMS on the scene. The 22 year-old man was assaulted,” he added.
Police are requesting anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact Police Commander Lt Col Mohlala on 082 5658234.
