R30 000 stolen in burglary

Cash to the value of R30 000 as well as calculators to the value of R6 000 were stolen.

A burglary occurred last Saturday at a store in Ruiter Street where no arrests were made.

According to a statement issued by Sgt. Mmadikgale Masingi, Spokesperson of the Mokopane SAPS, the complainant alleged that he closed the shop’s doors and windows around 13:00. During the night he was informed of the burglary. On his arrival at the shop he found that the door and wall has been broken and cash to the value of R30 000 as well as calculators to the value of R6 000 were stolen.

“Investigations are still continuing,” he said.
