The Limpopo Impala Cricket (LIC) regional and provincial teams were announced recently
POLOKWANE – The Limpopo Impala Cricket (LIC) regional and provincial teams were announced recently and they are ready to take on the new season.
LIC recently hosted their fourth annual provincial capping ceremony during which the players received some words of motivation from VKB Knights cricketer, Tumi Masekela.
The new teams, captains and coaches are:
LIC regional teams:
• u/11 boys team will play in Secunda under captain Gideon Goosen and coach Jerry Mhlongo.
• u/12 boys team will play in Vryberg under captain Maynard Kleynhans and coach Tumelo Malatji.
• u/13 girls team will play in Durban under captain Elandri Janse van Rensburg and coach, Maverick Sedibe.
• u/13 boys B-team will play in Gauteng under captain Nicholas Adendorf and coach Ben Skade.
• u/16 girls team will play in Johannesburg under captain Juliet Mooreni and coach Lordwick Mhlongo.
LIC provincial teams:
• u/13 boys A-team will play in Cape Town under captain Khaif Patel and coach Amie Smit.
• u/15 boys team will play in Potchefstroom under captain Diehann Pretorius and coach, Shane Friedrichs.
• u/17 boys team will play in Benoni under captain Artwell Makgoloboto and coach Lucky Mhlongo.
• u/19 girls team will play in Pretoria under captain Michaela Naudé and coach Sedibu Mohlaba.
• u/19 boys Coke team will play in Bloemfontein under captain Morné Venter and coach Dumile Skade.
