PSL teams set to rake in big bucks

Here is a look at just a few of the prizes teams and player stand to win:

POLOKWANE – The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is in full swing and soccer teams will be battling it out for a decent sum of prize money and the coveted title of PSL champions.

Here is a look at just a few of the prizes teams and player stand to win:

  1. Winning Team – R 4 000 000.
  2. Losing Finalist – R 1 500 000.
  3. Two Semi-Finalist teams – R750 000.
  4. Four quarter-finalist teams – R400 000

The remaining 16 teams also earn a gracious R 200 000 each.

The participation fee also includes a total of R250 000 per team making the grand total of prize money for all the teams combined R 14 200 000.

Our very own Polokwane City currently sits at the number five spot on the log with two wins, three draws and one loss while Baroka FC is 9th on the log with two wins one draw and three losses.

Polokwane City and Baroka FC are set to lock horns on Sunday, 30 and fans can expect a thrilling performance as both teams will be playing for points but more importantly, for pride.
