Samuel Manakana, Daniel’s brother said the family was deeply shocked and saddened after hearing about the death of their son.

He described him as a younger brother who will not want to see his family suffering.

“It is painful to lose a young blood especially someone who we were still expecting a lot from in our family. He used to love people and he was also loved by his community because of his kindness.

“However, someone with an evil mind just decided to cut his life short, we will still love him were ever he is because he played a crucial role in our family,” Daniel said sadly.

“His death affected me a lot because I thought we will grow together and take care of our mother and the family as whole,” he said.

On behalf of SPTA, King Kubjana said it was painful to lose a hard worker like Manakana.

“Since Manakana joined us, he never disappointed us. He was one of our soldiers in our industry who loved his work. He would follow the rules and do whatever you want him to do even though he could see that he can’t do,” said Kubjana.

Manakana’s Manager Fikile Ndongwane, also described him as a dedicated and a hard worker who would never disappoint someone.

“He was indeed a quiet man who worked for me in a proper way. To find someone like him will be difficult,” he said.

Manakana’s mother Evelyn was too emotional to speak about her son’s untimely death.

Manakana is survived by his mother and brother.
