Northern Media Group in Polokwane has a vacancy for a journalist
Journalist (Afrikaans & English)
The main purpose of a journalist is to produce exclusive, relevant, compelling and factually correct news articles for the publications.
This position might be for you if you have a:
- good general knowledge
- knowledge of our publications’ target markets,
- valid driver’s licence and own transport
- passion for the media
- fluency for writing in English and Afrikaans, and a
- working knowledge of social media and tech savvy.
We are looking for a reliable self-starter with good time management skills, who lives in the operational area of Polokwane and is willing to work on weekends and in the evenings.
Previous experience as a journalist and/or qualification in journalism will be an advantage.
