Prisma Jewaskiewitz Athletics Grand Prix needs sponsorship

The Prisma Jewaskiewitz Athletics Grand Prix is one of the biggest one-day athletics track-and-field competitions to take place in the city.

POLOKWANE – This ground breaking event sees athletes from eight primary schools and 12 high schools competing in a total of 169 events over the course of the day at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.
As the competition has no official sponsor and solely depends on donations from various stakeholders, current event Manager, Deon Jewaskiewitz, is appealing to potential sponsors to assist. “The Grand Prix is in need of an official sponsor and we implore business owners in the city to step up and help make this championship a success,” he said. “We hope these potential stakeholders will help to offset part of the enormous financial obligations under consideration to host an event like this.”
According to Jewaskiewitz, the projected cost to host an event of this scale is R44 840.
He added that there will be loads of promotional opportunities for the different sponsors, such as full and half page advertisements in the official programme, reference to their businesses by event commentators, evenly spaced advertisements, advert or banners behind the starting line and much, much more.
If you would like to become a sponsor or make a donation, contact Jewaskiewitz at 072 233 4167 or at deon@zorich.co.za.
