Rotary 100 grows
The Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100 inducted a new member during their meeting last Thursday.
POLOKWANE – Andy Maritz was proposed by Jack Schofield and Rotary Ann, Yvonne Joubert, welcomed Andy’s wife, Heather, to the Rotary Anns.
During the meeting, the club also said farewell to Peak Tansakul, an exchange student from Tibet who spent the past year in Polokwane.
In a tearful farewell speech, Peak thanked the club for their support over the course of the year.
“We hope Andy and Heather will enjoy their time with us. Peak, thank you for spending time with us and enriching our lives. We wish you well,” said Club President, Pieter Vermeulen.
