Harry Oppenheimer Agricultural High School celebrate’s Mandela Day

The School Governing Body (SGB) of Harry Oppenheimer Agricultural High School invited parents to participate in the cleaning of the hostels in celebration of Mandela Day.

POLOKWANE – The clean-up campaign took place over the school holidays as the hostels were unoccupied.

The Aganang Mayor, Cllr Maria Mokobodi, joined the SGB’s initiative alongside teachers, volunteers, general workers, the community and the School Management Team (SMT).

Dikeledi Ragophala, Deputy Chairperson of the SGB, said: “We painted the inside of the hostels, cleaned the toilets and the showers and we also scrubbed the walls and floors. We cut the grass and did maintenance on the plumbing and picked up papers in the yard. It was a great initiative and we hope everyone involved has learned something.”
