11 injured in accident on R71 Magoebaskloof
Eleven people were injured when a minibus taxi and a sedan collided on the R71 in Magoebaskloof on Saturday morning.
Polokwane – According to ER24 spokesman Pieter Rossouw the paramedics arrived on the scene to find the taxi on its roof.
“Most of the passengers of the taxi had already exited the vehicle. After assessment it was found that 11 people had sustained minor injuries.”
Paramedics treated and transported three patients to Van Velden Memorial Hospital for further treatment. The remaining patients were treated and transported by other services, added Rossouw.
The cause of the incident remains part of a further investigation.
