Body Life Training: 8 full-body cardio exercises for a full-body workout

In celebration of Youth Day on 16 June, Body Life Fitness Clubs will be holding a 5 and 10km Fun Run and Aerobics Marathon. Click here for more information.

The workout challenge for the week consists of two circuits; one of  5 full-body cardio exercises and the other of 3 full-body cardio exercises.

Body Life trainer Heinrich Wolhüter will demonstrate each exercise in the video blog.

“This is a great way of increasing your fitness level and to get back in shape in a limited amount of time. Complete these workouts in the best possible time to see great results.”

Circuit 1:

“For this workout, you will do squats, squat jumps, push ups and burpees – 8 rounds each

You can rest for about a minute to a minute and half in between each circuit

Circuit 2 –

Consists of skips, box jumps and crunches – 4 rounds each

TIP: with the skips you can use a jumping rope, but if you do not own one you can just do the skips without a rope.

“Always keep track of your times and complete the same workout a month from now to monitor your improvement,” adds Heinrich.

If you have any questions about the training, visit the two Body Life fitness clubs in town or contact  (015) 297 5850 or (015) 296 0434.
