Lim golfers take to the fairway
Golfers in the province competed on the fairway during the Business Networking International (BNI) golf challenge that was held at the Polokwane Golf Club last Friday.
POLOKWANE –Â Â The challenge was played in a four-ball alliance format.
Charles Mdluli, Tony Plaatjies, Yaseen Mohammed and J Swanepoel were named the winners of this challenge after finishing with 107 points. They were followed by Freek van den Berg, Roelf de Beer, Francius Steyn and R Pretorius on the second spot with 106 points on a count in. A team consisting of Theuns Vermeulen, Wynand Pretorius, J de Bruin and Karel de Bruin claimed the third position after accumulating 106 points on a count out.
FRans Marits and Keith Hoare got prizes for playing the longest drive at hole five and twelve respectively. Zeelie Lacante received a prize for playing nearest to pin eight while Henzo Coetzee was awarded for playing nearest to pin eleven.
