ANISAH MOOSA: Kidnapping case continues

A large crowd have gathered outside the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on Monday morning to oppose bail for the three accused for the Anisah Moosa kidnapping earlier this year.

POLOKWANE –  Moosa was kidnapped outside her uncle’s home in Nirvana in March and was held hostage while the kidnappers demanded ransom from her family after which a rescue operation led to her safe return.

Samuel Kubo (28), Masilo Elias Gafane (33) and Benny Mudau (34) face charges of hijacking and the attempted murder of three police officers, who were shot during the rescue operation and appeared in the Polokwane Regional Court last Tuesday.

The case was postponed until today.

According to Yusuf Abramjee, family spokesperson, the  closing arguments are expected today and he urges residents to join them in the #NoBail for criminals campaign.
