JCB team bleeds for SANBS
Blood saves lives and recently JCB has contributed to the effort of changing lives through donating blood.
POLOKWANE -The company specialises in selling and maintaining earth moving equipment and decided to host another blood drive at their premises, an occurrence most employees are familiar with.
Patrick Nevhutalu, an enrolled nurse with the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) says the demand for blood is usually higher following the Easter weekend.
“Many accidents occur on our roads, which leads to an increase in demand. The good thing is that now more than in the past, people are donating blood. I think it is because they are more informed and aware of blood donations,” said Nevhutalu.
