Great plans afoot for this ‘adopted spot’

The area on the corner of Geyser - and Thabo Mbeki Street has been cleaned by the team of Destiny Alive Church, Compass Academy of Learning (CAL) and Destiny-Alive Gold Mokopane.

MOKOPANE – The team recently adopted the spot as part of the community services department of the Mogalakwena Municipality’s initiative, ‘Love your town, adopt a spot’. This is just the beginning of a project that will include a garden, pick-up area for the Mokopane Primary learners, and a playground where learners of the School in Geyser Street, can play while waiting for their parents to pick them up in the afternoon,” the team said.

Pastor Thomas Marshall said, “if we want to see our town change we need to change”.

“You cannot immediately change the environment nor the wind, but you can adjust your attitude and the sail.

In a matter of time the environment will be different. When we have changed, then we can start to bring positive change around our lives.” If you want to partner with the team on this spot readers can contact Charmaine at 076 872 1342.
