Local athletes take 6th place in Two Oceans Marathon
Several local athletes completed the Two Oceans in under 5 hrs, see the list here.
POLOKWANE – The Old Mutual Two Oceans Marathon took place in Cape Town last Saturday and several athletes from the city had something to boast about when they completed the marathon in under five hours.
Polokwane saw hometown hero, Ludwick Mamabolo, complete the marathon in a time of 03:19:57, placing him overall sixth in the men’s category.
Jane Mudau ran exceptionally well and completed the marathon in a time of 04:55:34, securing a sixth position in the female age 50 to 59 category.

Polokwane Athletics Club:
• David Matome Kubjana in the male category with a time of 04:21:52.
• Pienas Magashule in the male category with a time of 04:14:02.
• Alfred Ratlou Ngoasheng in the male category with a time of 04:19:13.
• Hennie van Niekerk in the male category with a time of 04:42:40.
Pietersburg Road Runners:
• Jane Mudau in the female category with a time of 04:55:34.
• Timothy Munzhelele in the male category with a time of 03:58:27.
• Rufus Photo in the male category with a time of 04:06:13
