LIMPOPO – Police task team arrested four suspects and recovered stolen cigarettes estimated to the value of R200 000 following an armed robbery in Moletjie, Seshego on Tuesday.
Employees of a spaza shop were overpowered during a delivery on Tuesday explained provincial police spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.
“The armed suspects overpowered the employees, tied them up and forced into the bushes. The suspect left with the delivery vehicle.”
Members of the task team were alerted about the robbery and spotted the suspected vehicle, followed them and arrested all four of them.”
The suspects are due to appear in the Seshego Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (tomorrow) on a charge of armed robbery.
