POLOKWANE – Polokwane municipality is aware of the non-collection of waste from Monday, 2 November, and appeals to the public to be patient in this regard.
“The matter is currently receiving urgent attention and feedback with clear reworked schedules to cater for the backlog will be communicated shortly,” says a municipal spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene.
“As an interim measure, street cleaners and several trucks have been assigned to remove waste. Polokwane municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.”
